Head of Therapeutic Virus Development at Boehringer Ingelheim

Ingo Gorr received his Biology degree from the University of Wuerzburg in Germany, followed by a PhD in the Molecular Cell Biology department at the Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried/Germany. He then joined Roche first in Basel/Switzerland and later in Penzberg/Germany working in cell culture research. In 2015 he transitioned to Boehringer Ingelheim in Biberach/Germany and held leadership positions in upstream and downstream bioprocess development as well as in analytical development and QC before he became the head of therapeutic virus development.
